Oh wonderful was the word we used often to describe whatever we saw...... few really interesting things happened enroute Madikeri...
first we saw an elephant we thought its a wild one but it was chained so we went near it and started giving pose for pics,
actually it was in jungle and we had stopped our bikes it was only after the full photo session that the elephant started
to move and we were like oh god its FREE it not chained and we ran helter - skelter back onto our bikes.....
we stopped after some 40 odd Kms for having the famous Madikeri Coffee and some snacks.... then we started to head towards
Madikeri Sunset point, when we reached Madikeri we had two choices either go to Abbey Falls or Sunset point we chose Abbey
falls... and it was a wise decision really...
Enroute Abbey falls we had awesome experiences on those winding roads... really awesome experience i will strongly recommend
you travel on bikes to enjoy these roads fully..
but by the time we reached Abbey it was growing dark, but we will never ever say die ... so we trekked there as well discovering
till Abbey - 3.. but we had to leave soon as it was growing dark...we went back to Madikeri main town and booked a hotel and
dozed off as we wanted to see the sunrise... hotels are not that costly here very affordable even the food was good, we had
a nice dinner and then slept off.....
